This item is a whole chicken. $5 per chicken deposit reserves your birds and the final total will be calculated for payment when you pickup your chickens. The final cost is based on the weight of the actual birds you purchase (birds range from 5-7lbs). Chickens are frozen.

We raise pastured meat chickens each summer. They are raised on pasture so they have free access to fresh grass and clovers, plus as many grass hoppers as they can catch! Those guys are surprisingly fast!

We keep our meat chickens in portable Hoop-Coops to protect them from predators and give them space to roam. We move the Hoop-Coops twice a day onto fresh pasture and feed them supplemental non-GMO feed.

The fresh pasture gives the meat high levels of vitamin A and healthy omega-3s, compared to conventionally raised chicken, and helps to produce very tender meat.

Whole chicken is $5.10/lb $4.59/lb. All chicken is available as whole birds, halved, or quartered, air cooled to avoid contamination from water cooling and shrink wrapped for improved freezer longevity. Chickens range from 5 to 7 lbs.
